Job pathways

We work with civil construction and mining companies to use existing projects for training, licensing and on-job-experience.  This creates perpetual funnels of training, licensing and job opportunities.  Once students have completed the process, they may be offered a role within the project or connected with external job-placement agencies for employment in other projects.

For companies

Ngarranggarni Foundation enables construction and mining companies to access a free service that raises and sustains the Indigenous workforce component of their organisation, while then continuing to train and prepare overflow for other jobs in the greater region, thereby exceeding Indigenous engagement KPIs over a sustained period of time.

We also manage the range of grants and financial incentives in place for companies to create a financially viable model of engagement, training and job-placement with no detrimental financial impact from the creation of our training pipelines.  Furthermore, we also conduct career mentoring to assist with workforce retention and encourage long-term successful employment.

For communities

Ngarranggarni Foundation actively recruits candidates within communities through local networking.  We look for not only candidates who express an interest in gaining a career, but people from families or groups with other suitable candidates to help gather momentum within the community.  Our aim is to make a lasting difference by building a critical mass of employment that influences others in the community to want employment too.

Our adult foundation skills training, on-job-training and licensing are free for community members provided they make a commitment to long-term employment.  We then actively mentor these individuals in the coming years to encourage them to remain employed for the long run.
